Website Update

We have updated our donation page to accept donations via PayPal, Google Checkout, and Check/Money Order. We have had some issues with using PayPal alone and wanted to make the process easier and offer more options. Congrats Saints!

Great to see New Orleans win their first Superbowl. They deserve it after all they went through with Katrina. It's just football but it brings people together in a positive way.

President Obama on Election Day (Phoenix)

One of my many adventures was when I lived in Phoenix. On election night in downtown Phoenix (McCain territory, as he was only a couple miles from downtown) I experienced something wonderful. I was about 1/2 mile outside of the city and I could hear cheering and shouting. The whole downtown was just buzzing, Barack Obama was officially elected. I parked in some random garage in some alley and made my way downtown to one of the hotels. I got to watch his speech with hundreds of others on a TV in one of the hotel lobbies. I was surrounded by African Americans, Mexicans, Asians, Old people, Teenagers, just every type of person. We all had tears in our eyes of happiness. It was such a moment of togetherness and hope for change, I will never forget that feeling. So many people were touched that America was given a second chance, just unbelievable. When people question Barack Obama and his leadership I must assume that they do not realize the impact he has made already. I will probably add to this but felt it necessary after last nights speech. It just brought back the feelings of hope and change, and togetherness...
